Sienna Hurd: Week 1 – Welcome to Ireland!

Looking back and reflecting on my first few days in Ireland, there’s so much I’m excited to share. After taking the first night to recover from the long flight, we set out for a busy second day. Aidan O’Malley: Ireland Week 1 (Getting Around!?) 

This week, I began to adjust to spending the next eight weeks in Dublin. After arriving in Dublin, I was surprised to learn that there are several things here that are going to take time to adjust to and that there will be a very long learning curve. Some new places I explored included different types of grocery stores, and I discovered which store I preferred over another. Anthony Bell – Ireland Week 1: Exploring Dublin

Arriving in Dublin around 10am on Saturday June seventh, I was eager to get out of the airport and start experiencing a new culture and exploring Ireland. Max Wilson Week 1: Discovering Dublin

Having gone through a few days of my Dublin trip, I am very grateful for the opportunity that has been provided to me. Campbell Coonley: Week 1 – Exploring Dublin!

I arrived in Dublin on Saturday morning after eagerly awaiting my arrival for weeks. A few other students and I were transported to UCD and began to create new friendships, especially as more people arrived. On the first day, my roommates and I experimented with the public transport system and took the bus to the Dundrum shopping center to get some basic necessities.
