Lucie Cahill Week 7- Last weekend in Dublin:(

As our time here in Dublin wraps up, this week was bittersweet. I can’t believe this was our last weekend! On Saturday, we headed off on our Celtic Boyne Valley trip. It was crazy how much smaller the group had gotten for this trip. We started out at the Lia Fail stone on the Hill of Tara, which Kiki and I were honestly underwhelmed by. We were expecting it to be like 20 feet tall! Something I really enjoyed from the trip was seeing the fairy trees. I used to be really into fairies when I was little, so it […]

Week 7: Tales and Treks

This weekend got started off early on Thursday after work with dinner at a pub. After dinner, we decided to spend the night exploring more of Dublin. We had an early morning next Friday and a busy day of work. I was feeling a little sick, so I enjoyed some pizza and went to sleep early, preparing for our early trip the next morning. After an early morning call, we headed to the Dublin countryside to the Hill of Tara, where we got to see the famous stone that crowned early Irish Kings by screaming out loud. After a much-needed […]

Anthony Bell – Ireland Week 7: A Scenic Last Weekend Trip

As you can tell by the title, this post covers our last planned adventure of the trip, which consists of tours and more sight seeing of the beautiful landscape and history of Ireland. It is bittersweet to think about the fact that the trip is coming to an end, but I am eternally grateful for all that I have seen and experienced throughout this trip and am so happy I had the opportunity to go on so many adventures. For our last weekend trip we got to see a ton of the Celtic Boyne Valley, and according to my coworkers […]

Week 7: Wandering Ireland

This past weekend was incredibly eventful and full of exciting experiences. On Saturday, we went on a day trip to the Celtic Boyne Valley, which was both educational and adventurous. We visited several historical sites throughout the valley, each with a unique story and cultural significance. Learning about the ancient history behind these locations enriched the entire experience. The landscape was stunning, although the hills were somewhat challenging to climb. The ground was slippery in places, and the hike up was long and tiring, but the view from the top made it worth the effort. We paused at the summit […]

Nick Snyder: Ireland Week 7 – Intern Work to Cliff Walks

The seventh week of my trip to Ireland was not as eventful as some, but I still had a great time with some trips and internship work. My internship continued on its path as I started putting my language integration plan into practice by translated an entire work flow and testing it. It took about two days but I was able to successfully translate the flow from English to Spanish and was able to test it. It was basically an entire AI agent but I booked appointments, cancelled appointments, rescheduled appointments, and asked questions to it in Spanish. I thought […]

Emilia Lucas Week 7: Mom and Dad in Dublin!

This past week, I was lucky enough to have my parents visit in Dublin! The night before they arrived, we went to an acclaimed taco bar in the city and what we found there was super unexpected. We walked over to the location, sort of hidden down an alley, but we were taken to a local chain Mexican food place. Very confused, we walked inside and were greeted by a worker who led us over to a wall that happened to be a secret door into the restaurant! Speakeasy tacos were definitely not on my Dublin bingo card. We each […]
