I’ve been avoiding writing this blog because I don’t want to accept that this trip is actually ending. I really don’t want it to end! I’ve met some amazing people along the way, from my roommates, fellow Bucknell students, and my new friends from as far as California. It’s unfortunate knowing that I won’t see any of them next semester since I’ll be studying abroad in Australia and Singapore. (I’m trying to convince them to visit me) I;’ve already said I’ll take a trip to California once I come back though! Anyways I had a long weekend, specifically a five […]
I’ve come to enjoy writing these blogs every week. It’s like keeping a journal of my time in Dublin that I can look back on years from now. It makes me sad knowing that there’s only one more blog to write after this. I genuinely don’t want this trip to end. Technically, I’m still here for another two weeks since my family is coming to visit, but it won’t be the same. Usually when I write these blogs I look back at all the photos I have taken in the past week and this time around, I was shocked to […]
It’s finally hit me that this trip is almost over, and I’m not ready for it to end soon. Friends and family from home keep asking if I am excited to go back to America… and the answer is no. This weekend was jam packed with trips and experiences that will stick with me. It started off on Thursday and Friday, going out with my friends from California before heading up to Northern Ireland. The entire time we were driving to see the Titanic Museum in Belfast, I was confused on why there was a museum there. Come to find out the Titanic was actually built there. I had no idea, but learned so much during the visit. Afterwards, we went on a Political Taxi Tour. I was aware that there were conflicts between Catholics and Protestants, but hearing and […]

I’ve developed a full-blown addiction to iced matcha’s. Truthfully I’ve gotten one everyday after work. I love my little routine of leaving work taking a 15 minute walk to The Matcha Bar, then taking a stroll through St. Stephens Green. It’s the perfect way to unwind. This past week has been unexpectedly social and eventful. I met a bunch of students from UC Davis and UC San Diego who are also on the Connect 123 program. We ended up going out together on Thursday and Friday night and had a blast bar hopping and getting to know one another. I’ve […]
