Nick Snyder: Ireland Week 8 – Belgian Grand Prix and the End

My last full week in Ireland was full of a lot more experience at my internship and a weekend trip to another country. I want to first talk about the progress that I’ve made throughout my internship during the eight weeks that I have been in Ireland. I came in with very minimal experience on the background algorithms of AI agents, and I can honestly say that I have learned a lot about problem solving in general. But outside of my internship, this entire trip to Ireland has been quite transformative and helpful for me as a person both culturally […]

Nick Snyder: Ireland Week 7 – Intern Work to Cliff Walks

The seventh week of my trip to Ireland was not as eventful as some, but I still had a great time with some trips and internship work. My internship continued on its path as I started putting my language integration plan into practice by translated an entire work flow and testing it. It took about two days but I was able to successfully translate the flow from English to Spanish and was able to test it. It was basically an entire AI agent but I booked appointments, cancelled appointments, rescheduled appointments, and asked questions to it in Spanish. I thought […]

Nick Snyder: Ireland Week 6 – Working Hard and Playing Games

This past week in Ireland was not as eventful as the past couple, but I still worked hard at my internship and had a fun weekend. I feel like I’ve really gotten into a routine at my internship where I can come in everyday and be efficient with my work. Last week I finished with researching and starting a possible credit card integration feature for my start-up’s AI agent. This week I began my next project, which was researching and trying to integrate multiple languages into our agent in order to make it the best product for some people who […]

Nick Snyder: Ireland Week 5 – From Rope Bridges to Baby Lambs

My fifth week in Ireland was quite eventful, as besides my normal internship week, it included a weekend trip to Northern Ireland where we explored Belfast, Derry, and the surrounding areas. My week began with a continuation of my internship at Think Biosolution where I focused on implementing a payment system for the AI Voice Agent. Throughout the week I did research and found that the most efficient to implement it was using a program called Stripe that allowed me to call certain APIs through Postman, a website. My further understanding of these programs made me realize how much background […]

Nick Snyder: Dublin Week 4 – Castles and Barrels

This week in Ireland was another eventful one, where I was able to gain a lot more insight from my internship during the week and also see a lot more sights in the beautiful country of Ireland. During this week I got more involved at my internship, I was finally finishing some earlier assignments dealing with the AI model and was working with a new program called VoiceFlow. This online program allows me to create my own flows to implement different features into the AI Voice agent like credit card integration for online payments as well as multiple languages for […]

Nick Snyder: Dublin Week 3 – The Irish West Coast

My third week in Dublin was full of a lot of cool sights and adventures. It was highlighted by our weekend 3 day trip to the west coast of Ireland and specifically, Galway. It began with a 6:50 AM bus ride from UCD straight to the Cliffs of Moher. Some people believe that the cliffs are one of the best sights to see in Ireland, and I would agree as they were breathtaking. Even during the 3 hour bus ride to the cliffs, the scenery in the countryside of Ireland was quite beautiful. After seeing the Cliffs for a couple […]
