Max Wilson: Week 7 – Work, Golf, Repeat

This week was both eventful and relaxing. In the recent weeks at Carraighill, I have been doing some very interesting work helping them update their ETL systems. Although this is a very new and difficult process for me, I enjoy the problem-solving involved and the challenges of an unfamiliar task. Additionally, I am enjoying the opportunity to refine my coding skills and use my computer science skills in an environment outside of the classroom. Max Wilson: Week 6 – Soaking Up the Sun

The sun finally came out in Dublin this week, which was great because this weekend we had time on Saturday and most of Sunday to explore Dublin on our own. On Friday, since it was such a beautiful day out my advisor let me leave the workplace early to get outdoors. Max Wilson: Week 5 – An Unexpected Delight

This week was fun for me in the office. I have gotten the chance to switch up my work in the office and embark on a large coding project that involves problem-solving. Although the project has been difficult and frustrating at times, I enjoy the challenge.  On Saturday, we started our journey to Belfast early in the morning with our first stop being at the Titanic museum. Max Wilson: Week 4 – Stories, Movies, and Music

This week started with a bang, as we jumped right into our first event on Thursday. That evening, we made our way to the Stag’s Head, a historic pub, where we attended their folklore and fairies night. The atmosphere was lively and filled with stories, giving us a unique glimpse into Irish culture and myth. The following night, I had the chance to spend time with my coworkers outside of our usual work environment. Max Wilson: Week 3 – Jumping into the West Coast

My journey this week began early on Friday morning as we headed off to Galway. For our first stop, we landed at the Cliffs of Moher. This was such an amazing experience as the views were incredible, and it was a beautiful day. One of the coolest parts of this trip was getting to see the cave that contained one of the Horcruxes that Harry Potter and Dumbledore sought to destroy.
