Layth Kanafani: Week 3 (Back to Being Employed)

It has been quite a busy third week in Dublin. First and foremost, I had my second first day of the trip, this time at my new internship at the Beacon Hospital. I really enjoyed my first two days at the new internship, I feel like there is so much I can learn here and I look forward to going back and continuing my work on the project I started last week. Layth Kanafani: No Job No Problem!

It’s been a pretty good second week for me here in Dublin. Since my last blog post, I haven’t been back to my original internship. After realizing that it wasn’t the right fit for me, I stepped away from the nursing home placement. Although I was only there for two days, I knew that this would be the right thing for me to do so that I can enjoy the trip and make the most of the experience. Layth Kanafani: First Few Days in Ireland

We landed in Dublin on Saturday, June 7th, at around 8:30 in the morning. After a smooth customs/baggage claim process which lasted 30 minutes at most, the very first thing my friends and I did was head straight to the airport bar for our first legal drink.
