I can’t believe this is my last blog post! I’m so sad to be leaving Dublin in just three days, it really flew by. On Thursday, me, Kiki, Emilia, Zoe, and Rayna flew to Portugal for our free weekend. We stayed in Tavira, and it was amazing! We had the best time ever laying out on the beach, tanning, swimming, and exploring the town. It felt so good to get out of the city and enjoy the warm weather. On Saturday, we drove to Albufeira to check out the caves. It was about a fifty minute car ride, but totally […]
As our time here in Dublin wraps up, this week was bittersweet. I can’t believe this was our last weekend! On Saturday, we headed off on our Celtic Boyne Valley trip. It was crazy how much smaller the group had gotten for this trip. We started out at the Lia Fail stone on the Hill of Tara, which Kiki and I were honestly underwhelmed by. We were expecting it to be like 20 feet tall! Something I really enjoyed from the trip was seeing the fairy trees. I used to be really into fairies when I was little, so it […]

This past week in Dublin has really felt like summer, with the nicest weather we’ve had. Saturday was the hottest day yet, so Emilia and Rayna and I decided to go to Howth for the day. The town was so nice, it reminded us of an American coastal fishing town that you would find somewhere like Cape Cod. As soon as we […]
This past weekend, we took a trip to Northern Ireland which was a really interesting experience for me. To start, I embarrassingly had no idea that Northern Ireland was actually a separate country. I always just assumed it was referred to as Northern Ireland the same way you would distinguish Northern America to the South. It was weird getting there and realizing that I didn’t have service because my sim card no longer worked and everything was in pounds instead of euros. We started at the Titanic museum, which I loved. I’ve always been really interested in the Titanic, and […]

This past week in Dublin has been one of my favorites so far. My boyfriend, Owen, came and visited me for his birthday. It was his first time visiting Ireland and I had so much fun showing him around Dublin. We spent a lot of time walking around, shopping, making dinners, and going out. He was especially excited to see his friends and fraternity brothers Ellix, Price, Layth, and Aidan so we went out with them and it was fun catching Owen up on our Ireland adventures. We were really lucky to have such warm weather this week. On his […]
