Another week has officially gone by and the more I sit around and think about it the more surprised I am at how little time we have left here. This past week started off a little rougher than other weeks, since we didn’t make it back from Northern Ireland till Monday night, it was hard to find time to do laundry, get groceries, and prepare for the work week ahead. Tuesday and Wednesday were rough wake ups for work, but I was motivated to make it through the days since my favorite soccer team (Real Madrid) was playing in the semifinals of the Club World Cup on Wednesday night. Wednesday night rolled around and my mood was absolutely shattered in the first 10 minutes when we let up 2 goals, going on to lose the game 4-0. My friends and I decided to go out after the game so that they could celebrate my teams loss, which proved to be a terrible idea since we all had rough wake ups for work Thursday morning. But instead of learning from our mistakes, we went out again Thursday night after the Irish House Party and had another rough wake up Friday…
Apart from the rough wake ups caused by our terrible decisions to go out, we had a very light activity load this week. The Irish House Party was a lot of fun, although it was longer then I had expected, the food was delicious and the performance was so good. Our next event wasn’t until Sunday so we had a lot of free time so be on our own. I used this free time to read our book and do my book reflection, which was a process I spread out over the span of 3 days.
Aidan’s friend John came to visit on Saturday so we spent the day out and about, showing him some of our favorite spots in Ireland. Experiencing Gaelic Games was definitely one of my favorite trips, it was nice to step away from history and just enjoy the beautiful weather. My favorite sport was definitely Gaelic Football, being a soccer player all my life, Gaelic Football was the sport most fitting to my skill level. But regardless, I thought all three sports were super cool and I’m glad we got to play them against each other.
Monday we had our last class, and although it’s sad we won’t all get to sit in class together sharing laughs and talking law anymore, I look forward to sleeping in these next two Mondays and starting the last two weeks off fully energized. After class we had the Kilmainham Gaol (prison tour) which was very interesting!
The prison tour being my last event of the trip really makes me realize just how close we are to the finish line, I look forward to making the most of the next few weeks and making more memories with everyone!

So sorry to hear about the loss of your favorite team!!! Glad you made up for it with a fun night!
