My journey this week began early on Friday morning as we headed off to Galway. For our first stop, we landed at the Cliffs of Moher. This was such an amazing experience as the views were incredible, and it was a beautiful day. One of the coolest parts of this trip was getting to see the cave that contained one of the Horcruxes that Harry Potter and Dumbledore sought to destroy. After this, we went to the Burren before heading to Galway. Here we had an unexpectedly amazing view of the ocean and the surrounding landscape. When we got to Galway, we found our rooms within a hostel, which were very small and had uncomfortable bunk beds. Immediately, Nick, Tennyson, Brad, and I set off for the Black Rock beach, where we took advantage of the warm day and went for a swim. After this, we went to a local Italian restaurant where we all got pizzas. On our way back, we had a long wait for the bus, the stop was right next to a Casino. For fun, Brad and I went in and played blackjack as we waited for the bus to arrive. I ended up losing 20 euros, but it was still fun. That night, we also got a chance to explore the city of Galway and found that it was very lively with music and people crowding the streets.
On our second day in Galway, we took a trip to the Aran Island of Inishmore. This was unexpectedly the highlight of the trip. As part of the trip to the island, we were able to rent bikes to use to travel around the island, which had so much in store for us. First, we rode our bikes along the coast of the island, making our way to the Dun Aonghasa. As we traveled, we saw amazing views of the coast of the island and ran into some animals. We saw goats, an alpaca, and a donkey, which were all very cute. Finally, we made it to our destination in Dun Aonghasa, where we saw incredible views from the highest peak of the island. After we went to the Redbull Wormhole, where Brad and I decided to go against the advice of many of the visitors there and jump in. Luckily for me, Brad had done some investigating on the best way to climb out, but for a while, I was stuck in the Wormhole, not knowing how to get out.
Lastly, as I start work this week, I got a chance to meet the CEO of the company as he was finally back from travel. I got to learn so much about how he started the company and the goals that he had for the company. This conversation with him, Charlie, and me only made me more invested in the work that I was doing for them and made me eager to continue to learn more. This was such an amazing week, and all I’m left wishing is that we had more time in Galway.

It was great to explore the west coast with you and the others this last weekend and love your choice of pictures! The jump into the wormhole was something to remember. Glad to see that your internship continues to get better with each week.
