I can not believe this was the last full week on this trip. This trip has been so amazing and so special. I have learned a lot about myself professionally and personally. This is an experience I will certainly never forget. I am definitely going home a better person than when I left. Even though I can’t wait to see my family and go back to school, leaving Ireland is going to be extremely difficult.
This past weekend we took our free weekend trip to Mallorca, Spain. I can confidently say this was the coolest place I have ever been. The trip started off very rocky as the turbulence was extreme, and having a slight fear of flying, it’s safe to say I struggled to relax. However, waking up the next morning to the sun and clear water made everything ok. We spent the whole day on the beach and swimming in the water. The water was so warm it felt like a hot tub. We went out to dinner that night and explored the towns around Peguera where we were staying. The next day, we explored some quieter and less touristy spots. The water was just as beautiful, and I felt so at peace. On Sunday, we took a boat tour and got to go snorkeling and swimming in some of the most beautiful areas on the island. You could see the fish swimming below you, and I really enjoyed how relaxing this experience was. We explored Palma, the city in Mallorca, and then went home and had an early night to prepare for our flight the next morning.
This week I plan to go back to Howth with Sienna, and we are hoping we get good weather this time. I also plan to spend as much time with my friends as possible because I feel so grateful I met them and became so close with them this summer. This experience is certainly one I will never forget.

I am glad the beach made up for the crazy turbulence. That restaurant bar looks awesome!
